The Dark Knight

I just got home from seeing "The Dark Knight," the newest Batman movie. Let me just say that this movie surpassed all the hype in my mind, it was dark, disturbing, amazing, and action packed in a way that no other super hero movie has ever been. Heath Ledger's Joker first struck me as a little creepy, then funny, then diabolical, and finally he became everything a good villain is, insane.

This movie was pretty long, clocking in at just under 210 minutes (give or take), but the action never wavers, the storyline is strong, and the bad guys are horrific, but you can't take your eyes off. I'm also telling you out there that kids should not see this movie. Of course, I'm not one for censorship, so take them if you want, but be prepared for the nightmares afterwards. Heck, this film might give me nightmares, but I'll see it again, and again. I watched "Batman Begins" again the other day in anticipation of this one, but it blows that movie away. Of course, they're hard to compare, but cut from the same stock.

A+ for "The Dark Knight"
